Vocabulary – Strategy 3: Using Context to Determine the Meaning of Expressions

The word JUST has several meanings. In each sentence indicate the word that could be replaced by JUST. The correct answers will turn blue when you click on them.

Verbs, or action words, such as KEEP may combine with a preposition to make a phrase. The meaning of the new phrasal verb is not the same as the verb alone. Fill in the blank after the verb KEEP in each sentence.
