Here to Help: Workplace communication skills for food services

I like that it's specifically designed to address needs of the job market. The starting point was talking to employers and finding out what they need from our students. - Instructor

This week the School of Global Access released their newest in-class resource, Here to Help: Workplace communication skills for food services. The resource consists of a downloadable PDF Learner Workbook and PDF Instructor Guide.

Last month we hosted a webinar to outline Here to Help and introduce it to interested educators. The feedback we received was very positive and echoed the feedback from teachers during the pilot phase of the project such as, "I think this resource covers all aspects of working in Canada. Normally only the job interview skills are taught in detail".

To learn about the Here to Help resource, view a recording of the webinar.

If you download the resource, please let us know. We would love to hear what you think and the ways in which you use the resource with your learners.
