We will be hosting Marjorie Contenti, beloved TEDxBowValleyCollege 2015 speaker, in collaboration with LEAD. Marjorie will be speaking on the value of meditation for our wellbeing, and she will be offering a guided meditation at the end of her workshop.
Wednesday, February 17
Intercultural Centre (N322), 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Join Sughra Aunali, a BVC learner, for an interactive workshop on clay flower creating. You will learn how to make polymer clay, sculpt it into a beautiful floral design, and paint it to your taste.

Back by popular demand, BVC and Olds College instructor Bertrand Bickersteth, along with Chris Clare, local actor and owner of One Circle, will be speaking to the continued relevance and importance of Black History Month in their Cultural Insights workshop, “Where are we now?”.

Ning Gao, of Yoga and Beyond, will share her story of coming to Canada, and finding success in following her passion for yoga. Ning will offer training on yogic breathing and tips on maximizing your yoga practice.
