The theme for Intercultural Week, March 6 to 10, 2017, was "A Spotlight on Diversity." This year's events included:
- Color me different: An art installation by Miguel Barros
- BLANK by Nassium Soleimanpour: A theatre performance
- International Women's Day: The anatomy of objectification
- Before it was called Canada: An honoring of Indigenous history and culture
- Global Groove: A gathering of world dance, featuring square dancing, Tajic folk dance, salsa, and street Jazz.
