Presenter: Emily Albertsen
Emily is a faculty member at the Centre for Excellence in Immigrant and Intercultural Advancement at Bow Valley College. She has worked with youth and adult ESL literacy learners for more than ten years. She has contributed to many projects in ESL literacy, including the CCLB ESL literacy resources ESL for ALL and the ESL for ALL Support Kit. She is the editor of Learning for LIFE: An ESL Literacy Handbook and she was the invited speaker on the topic of ESL literacy at the 2016 ATESL conference.
