ABCs of Practical Literacy

This resource book contains content-based literacy activities based on Canadian Language Benchmarks 2000: ESL for Literacy Learners. The ABCs of Practical Literacy is divided into three sections: Economic Literacy Activities, Employment Literacy Activities and Personal Management Literacy Activities.

The Employment Literacy Activities section contains twelve ready-to-use activities related to finding a job, filling in forms, creating a resume and reading a work schedule.

The Economic Literacy Activities section of this resource book contains sixteen ready-to-use activities related to financial literacy and numeracy.
